Live Wall to be released later in U.S.

The forthcoming double-album release "Is There Anybody Out There? Pink Floyd The Wall Live" will be released later in the United States than around the rest of the world, multiple sources within EMI confirm.

The album will be released on 27 March internationally except in the United States. Although at least one EMI source states that the album will be released in the United States on 18 April.

The latter source explained that three major labels are vying for the U.S. release, which results in disagreement and uncertainty about when it will be released.

The new information about the conflicts between three labels clears up some of the previous confusion about the changing U.S. release dates, as well as the reports that it has been postponed 'indefinitely.' It is likely that each label has its own timetable for release, and that the timetables are not in agreement. The talk about delaying the release indefinitely may also be the result of the squabble over release rights, although that cannot be confirmed.
